I had a bit off the red 350 se,but there's also a 390 se being broken as well privately as he's going to re-use the chassis, shame about that as well coz it only had what appeared to be a minor off, someone beat me to the bonnet by a fiver which peeved me a little!
Probably some bling-freak who wants the world to think his 350 is a 390... errrr....

Thats it and then next year there will be a huge thread on here to discuss the 350 with the 390 bits and did it come from Blackpool like that and was it a prototype and did some dummy at the factory put the wrong stickers on it and is it really a Griff or was it a special order model for Elvis.

Or is it a SEAC with an alternative body

Or did somebody just buy a 390 bonnet from a breakers yard and stick it on

My 390SE has the same engine capacity as a 400SE. And it says 400SE on the kickplates (previous owner couldn't get 390SE ones
).So it must be a 400SE really...

Anyway, if you want rarity, I think mine is STILL the only Wedge in the world that has cruise control

Rumour has it that Elvis owned a yellow 'De Tomaso Pantera' which in a way is very similar to a Wedge, and one day when it wouldn't start he shot at it. It turned out that it was just a flat battery. I own a yellow Wedge, so you can see the similarities. Talking about the ' De Tomaso Pantera' one of my customers in my day job, living not too far from me, actually owns one, but it's a non runner and has been standing in the front of his house for quite a long time rusting away. It suffers from tin worm, but having said that its a very rare one as its in right hand drive. Every time I ask him to sell it to me he says he wants to rebuild it. He has been saying that now for several years but I haven,t given up yet, so who knows?

350SE number 26
The TVR 350SE was a sports car designed and built by TVR starting in 1990 and ending in 1991.
In 1990 TVR Engineering Limited produced a limited production run of 25 specially prepared 350's to mark the end of the era heralded by the 350i. This commemorated the previous 7 years of production during which time over a thousand 350i-model TVRs were manufactured.
All 350SEs featured a 3.9 litre NCK hotwire Rover V8 all-alloy engine, polished multi-spoke alloy wheels and Koni adjustable shock absorbers.
Each car is uniquely numbered with its number surrounded in laurels in gold for future recognition on the side wings and rear. The cars also had 350SE decals on front spoiler, side sills and rear. TVR originally sold the 350SEs for £21,000.
The limited production 350SE was seen as the ultimate progression of the 350i in terms of both outright performance and enjoyment.[1]
Number 13 was never made so there was a number 26 to make up the 25 cars. Number 20 was a big valve. Number 19 has been broken up for parts and no longer exists.
Number 1 of 25 is Monza red with a cream and red interior and shown in the top photograph.
