What looks to be 2 resistors just above the power steering pump... Could this be another thing i need to change if the cars running poorly.. What do they do, what are they.?

There are ballast resistors in conjuction with the coil, not 100% sure but check on these lines.

Internal dimmer resitors for the interior light I believe. Another thread going around on this one..

Ahhhhh for the Opera interior lighting mode. My Audi had the same. See TVR were pioneers for something.

Yes they are supposed to dim the dash lights with the switch in the second off position !

My 400 SE has a little rotary dimmer, which switches the dash lamps through the resisters dimming the dash lights. They are knackered so bypassed for now.
