Has the TVR Tasmin/Wedge had it's 30th Anniversary or is it due now. Maybe i've just missed it.
If it's now then we'll need to get more Wedges to BBWF to celebrate it's birthday in style.
Your thought's please.

It is the 30 year anniversary of the 350i and there is a gathering in May at Lakeland Motor Museum planned. TVR CC are sorting it.

Hi

Ref the 30 year of the Tasmin, it was in fact 2009 as the first cars were made in 79 but not shown to the public till early 80.

Now this is a bit incorrect the 3oth of the 350i is 2013 Fist prototypes were made in early 83 and the first production car was July 83 so this event being planed is a bit premature.

My SX will be 30 in 2019. So I suspect we have many excuses for parties between now and then for our various wedges.

Not of course forgetting 50th anniversary of TVR racing at Sebring 12 hours (Grantura Mk2) and Le Mans 24 hours (Grantura Mk3) in 1962.

Hi

I am looking at doing this one if my legs will let me!
350i and SEAC I think, showing the first production wedge V8 to the final concept by TVR of the V8 in a wedge! Boy what a differance. Chalk and Chesse has nothing on these two!

I dont unfortunately own either of the above cars. The "Le Mans" car is owned by Daniel Nash and the Sebring car was bought a couple of weeks ago by a well known classic car specialist. I will, time permitting pencil in the Lakeland meeting and will bring up my old banger. I am going to Classic Le Mans in it as usual and have booked a track session on the friday, sharing it with serial TVR owner who has one of the last TVR,s built so may see you there Campbell.

ps just pencilled it in my diary and it clashes with Donington Historic Festival and i,m supposed to be organising a gathering of classic TVR,s there.
