I will do a proper advert and everything as soon as I can get some photos sorted but as a lot of you have helped me so far I thought I would give you the heads up first. I bought the TVR to split and rebody but it was so damn good I couldn't do it. I now need to flog it to raise money for the wreck I did buy (https://sites.google.com/site/g46wca/).

I would like to thank you all for the help and advice you have given. I am sure I will be back in a tvr soon.

!! Edited so it doesn't read like an advert. Sorry mods. Wca !!

ETA

Sorry but you are not allowed to advertise in the forums, if you post too much information here this thread will get deleted.

It is a sad day indeed. Unfortunately the with four cars and three of them playing up, something had to go. The Mercedes blew some electrics and the spares raped my wallet, the truck alternator went and is stupid money to fix so that lives on the drive with a battery charger close at hand, the Scimitar is being stripped for rebuilding.

The ironic thing is the TVR is the most reliable car in the fleet but has to be the one to go :-(

I need the Merc for work, the truck is worth squat all and the Scimi would cost me to get rid of it so the Wedge has to fund the rest unfortunately. If I come up with a cunning plan between now and the weekend I will be keeping it, just running short of pennies right at the moment.

Get rid of the Merc and drive a Wedge to work every day! wink

In all seriousness though, sad it has to go but you've really taken good care of it and i'm sure it'll find a happy owner!

I hate to say it..But you do know you are going to be un-happy forever, Once a wedge gets under your skin no other car is going to cut it..They burn deep into your soul..I hope you dont get rid but know that needs are a must..personally i would get rid of the merc..fk the truck and enjoy yourself!..Good luck in what ever you do and if you do get rid let us know how you get on with the scim...Cheers..Ziga

It is true , I went 20 years before buying another Wedge and in that time I was completely unhappy, nothing to do with the missus I promise, so it must of been the lack of Wedge :+). Once gone it is difficlut to replace and be as happy as........ if that makes sense sonar

Stop messing about..keep it, You know you love it now and its under your skin!!..Just tell the wife that its a reflection of her.."It has a wonderful body shape"..."It gets you excited"..."You feel special when your together"..."Makes you grin like a naughty school boy" and goes like the clappers!!..eerr..The car that is!!..Actually better forget the last one and treat the misses to a nice romantic meal!!..Seriously though..I think you really love the car now and it would be a shame to get rid...Perhaps come along to this years BBWF, Bring the misses and have a wedgetastic weekend..Go on you know you want to..Cheers..Ziga

Tell the wife it is like her - It is old, dated, possibly unreliable but bloke in white vans and on building sites stare and give the thumbs up.

perhaps I shouldn't show her the thread ;-)

One step closer to losing her (car not wife). I have the photos and vids for the advert.

Look and listen to what I will be losing : https://picasaweb.google.com/115660383436295169415...

He was never going to keep it coz his heart was never in it,he ain't a wedge man although he'd like to claim it, was never gonna happen, bought it as a toy to say he'd been there,I blinked and he was gone,I know someone exactly like it,likes the attention for a while then has to move on to something else,ta ta then, put us out of our misery
