Taking the wedge out for a blast tomorrow, not just a small pinkle around though. My boy is working near Wick at the top of Scotland and only comes home once a month or so, so it's my turn to visit him for the weekend.

It is ONLY 420 miles ish there tomorrow and 420ish back on Sunday.
Wish I had gone today because the weather is glorious, but keeping fingers crossed.

Mrs TT just gives me one of those looks like only a women can when I said I was going in the Tiv. I could go in the Clio dci for about 1/3 of fuel costs. But where's the fun in that

Enjoy Tony, thats the reason of owning a Wedge is to enjoy it when we can. PS - Watch out for speed cameras on the A9.

I'm on the other side of the country in west cumbria. 40 miles west of Penrith in the lake district. People keep telling me the views are stunning and the scenery is second to none. I don't see that because I've lived with it for eekyears

jonny- the boy hasn't mentioned about camaras on the A9 and he's done the trip 4-5 times. cop But I'll keep an eye out all the same.

Might even stop for the odd photo oppertunity if the sun is shinning. I will even post up picture or 2 of my sleeping quarters. Salubrious, some may think so

If the Clio was a v6 then you could have a lot of fun and use not so much petrol , you'd just have to be careful not to spin !

That would be fun if it was the V6 clio. Teaching people to drive with that much grunt, don't think the examiners would be too happy though.
