Hi Jeremy,

good to see a fellow newcomer - I bought my first wedge last Friday and havent stopped grinning since - its absolutely true about the TVR Grin as I`m sure you`ll find out when the beast in back on the road

Good luck and look forward to seeing you out on the road before the end of the year?

PS if you want to view other members cars just click on their names and,if they`ve posted a pic, you should see their car on their profile page.

All the best Gandalf

I just need to find some parts that seem to be Needles in the haystack parts in the US. And i could have the car on the road by the end of the week!! Just found a set of spark plug wires on Ebay, Origian Lucas ones. Found the Thermostat Switch through NAPA. But now I need to find an O-ring and Plastic Sheath for the Fuel Injectors. All of my injectors are fine except one, the o-ring tore, and the plastic sheath got crunched. Luckly my brother has a Coupe TVR same year, that has no motor, but he had one of the A/C sensors that i just took off.

So now I just need a thermostat housing, and a new Airflow hose that goes from the Manifold to the Fuel Injector/Air filter (the big black thing) hahah :P

Also i was wondering if anyone knows where the baby blue wires that come off the A/C unit connect to. Rabbits decided they liked the color i guess.

She's just waiting to tear up the street, hopefully I can find those parts.

Jeremy - to which bit of the AC equipment are they currently attached? And to what pin numbers?

The wiring diagrams I have (in "The Bible" and marked for US models) show one blue wire in the AC electrics connecting the two "HP Switches" together, and one from the "Blower motor (feed)" to the "AC Microswitch"

There are two "slate" coloured wires from the "AC Probe" (wherever that is!) which are shown as connecting to black wires going on pins 7 & 8 of the "AC Module"

On your website, you mention, "Luckly my dad found a guy who had the original TVR wiring diagrams so we actually have something too look at while we rewire." - if these are any different to those in "The Bible" (standard looking schematics), we all might be interested in seeing them. Any chance you could scan and e-mail them to me? As you know, electrics on Wedges can be a real PITA and any more information we can all garner is illuminating (of course, sometimes the extra illumination casts deeper shadows somewhere else ).
