Gags, misses etc when hot? V8 WEDGE

Hi, problem is, car starts from cold and drives great. Stop and restart and it gags misses when hot. When cold again starts and drives ok.Have renewed everything
that i can, have run out of ideas.

Any suggestions? Many thanks

Try the temperature sensor. A new one only costs a few quid, and a failed one will give the same symptoms.

Have changed temp sensor and thermotime switch already
anymore ideas?

I'll be interested to hear how you go as I've now got the same issue after having had many other issues.

I've replaced allllll ignition parts. Took it out lastnight and great when cold and then running hot... Then you Stop n start it's like its choking... Starting from hot, runs crap then seems to clear itself... Bizarre.

I'm doing my timing tomoz.. It's worth a try..

try disconnecting the cold start injector, see if that helps. If so it's the temp sensor for that.

Could be the rotor arm breaking down, had this with my old man's e-type recently.
Worth swapping in a good quality replacement and seeing what happens.

My 400SE is the Hotwire system. I don't think I have a cold start injector... It has a new dizzy, leads, cap, rotor, plugs and amp.
