The wedge i have now has a very small bit of fraying on the centre section of the roof.

So i am thinking of getting a full new hood.

Now the wedge is white and i was thinking of going for either a red hood or a blue one, or should i stay black?????

I would stay black. Always think whatever colour the car is, it looks strange (for want of better words) with a different colour roof

I was thinking

Blue - i also like the blue - white combo
Red - be a bit different
Black - original safe option, easy to maintain.

This is something i have always wondered about. My roof is new so i won't be spending anything on the roof in the near future. BUT................... i've always liked the idea of a RED roof on a white cab personally.

But my interior is grey................so don't worry David!!

I have to say originality doesn't really interest me.

Condition and individuality however...............

I'm in the midle of making a cover for the roof when its folded down. I was thinking of making it in red and mrs tt said, 'no, it needs to be black, it's more subtle' laugh

If a wedge is anything, it's certainly not subtle. Keep it black Rob, you now it makes sense to blend in

Hood colour needs to echo body or the interior colour. Three colours may look a bit of a jumble if you know what I mean. If you had Red carpets & Red 400SE decals on the outside, then a Red hood would work. Same thing with Blue. Change the stickers the same time. thumbup

& stripe of course.
