This:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3145902.htm

Was for sale a while ago if i remember correctly only this time no pictures of the interior which, again if i remember correctly looked tired.

I'm no expert but that seems top money for a 350i to me personally. Not saying its not a good example just that it seems expensive, considering what i paid for my previous 400se and current 450se. Maybe prices are on the up? Who knows......

Gotta love the sales blurb last line.................'at very little money'

What do you guys think? Anyone viewed it?

Yep, that's been for sale for ages (since last year).

As we always say, our cars probably SHOULD be worth that money, but they're simply not at the moment!
It's probably about £2.5k over-priced I reckon.

The term 'at very little money' depends on how much money you have in the bank. If you are loaded, then it's very little money, but if you are poor, then it's a hell of a lot of money. Therefore, the seller of this Wedge must be loaded, presumably by selling overpriced cars. It would have to be an exceptional car to be worth anywhere near that price, and I didn't see or read anything exceptional about it. Still he can only try! and why not!

Yes agree it is a lot for a 350i i thought a top dog 350i would be around £4500.

In that case for me 7k is a lot of money!! lol

Ah yes Steve of course how could i miss the obvious? White adds approximately 3k to the price of any wedge!!

As already mentioned that's 400SE money.

Maaaaaybe, like some Scoobie owners motors, this car has gold in the sills. If that's the case it's worth it. !

mine was free, does that count as very little money!!! lol

dealers will tend to over price their cars so when you turn up and want to part exchange your sorry looking lump of crap for a car they can offer you a really good price for it rather than insulting you with the real part ex price, you feel all warm and fussy inside thinking you've got a good deal and the dealer gets what he wanted for car in the first place and then ships your old scrapper of down the auction where another sucker buys it!!!

As the old adage goes 'a car's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.'

I for one hope he gets what he's asking - wedge prices have been in the doldrums for too long. What else can you get that provides the same bang for your buck?

Honestly, i'd get a 400 for that kinda cash. It's vastly overpriced unless it's in unique mint shape.

I think that at the moment someone could get a pretty decent 400 for that money too

Wonder what my 390 SE would now be worth, especially as I picked it up yesterday having had a new roof, both sections, looks really good now. I'll have to post some pics and get your opinion.......

Mind you, the interior still needs sorting, a bit rough around the edges frown

Indeed, my 450 had a complete new roof, new carpets and re trimmed seats not long before i bought it.

What's it worth? Well it was worth what i paid for it! Which even if i say so myself was about right i think.

Maybe worth a tad more now i've done a little to it inc the wheels. Who knows
