Early Morning Start

I'm on day shift this week. Today was an earlier finish, so Id been keeping an eye on the weather and today looked a good day to take the TIV to work.. Sadly I start early. So move the cars from the drive, move he mountain bike from the garage door and (if poss) quietly start T/pants, hoping not to wake the neighbours. I thought I had got away with it.. This was at 5.55am.. So I trickle along and down the road to the petrol station short shifting..
I eventually park the car in the car park at work, 10mins after i arrive at work i get a text from her indoors "your cars exhaust reverberated down through the houses, then it stopped then it started again"
Oops, I never got away with the gentle quiet driving style I'd tried to employ!! LOL Even away down the road at the petrol station....

Sadly it was raining when I left to come home, so the roof stayed on..

Done exactly the same down to moving the mountain bike yesterday got to work and the heavens opened. Car kept the rain out when I returned to the car after my shift promptly gave it the beans away from the shower block to cheers From all the lads

Dix,
talking of heavy rain, does yours have the "anti-damp footwell system" like mine which when it rains catches all the water from the window seals in the ashtrays on the door cards. Brilliant design feature.
