Twas a bit wet on Sunday though wasn't it. I hope Wedge fest is drier / warmer / less windy.

At least, that was the plan last year: I saw Jeff go past, walked back to the car, shut the door, put my belt on, selected some Aerosmith and turned the key.
Nothing happened.
Bloody loose connection to the starter motor. By the time I'd fixed it Jeff was 30 miles in front of me; even if I'd remembered to bring some Dilithium crystals and a Bengurian hyperdrive I wouldn't have caught him.
This year I'll leave the engine running

According to Goggle maps it will take you another 90+ mins to get to WoodallRob
so will be there at 10am to meet you
Then still another 100 miles to Ettington for Lunch

Hi SteveWill try get there for about 11am as we did last year
There is a layby (and pee stop) just as we turn down the Fosse Way from the A5
so can meet there as in previous years and then have a last fast blast into Ettington
