Hi

Well I had my opp today on both legs!

If all goes well tomorow I can go home, after I have stood up, and hopefully taken a step or two. yikesbounce That's just over five months since I last stood up let alone walk or drive.
Mind you it will proberly still take at least another six months before I can walk unaided if I can at all (Thats what the specalist say.) I will have to see about that!
Driving is another thing?

Thanks again for all your best wishes

Andy

Andy thats great news about the legs, the road ahead will be slow but it will be worth it.
Are you coming up to the Lakeland motor museum or are you staying in hospis for a few days...
Planning on going down one the Sunday...

Good to hear you are on the road to recovery.

Hi

Even though I am coming out of Hospital and hopefully have taken a step or two, I will not really be mobile for a few weeks! So Lakeland Show is not on!
Even the fest will still be touch and go as stairs will be a problem and I have two flights to just get outside! I will if nesscary for that be going down the stairs on my arse if I have to!

Andy - nice to hear things are positive, slow but sure progress.

Good news though considering how bad it could have been.

All sounding good Andy, keep going. We can always hire a flat bed for you and the car's for BBWF with your hood down. That way you could be waving to everyone passing you.

I was horrified to read the details of your accident in Sprint but this sounds like good news.

I hope your recovery continues at a good pace.

Andy. I am glad to hear things are looking good. You can do it. You are a fighter, if anyone can, you can. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon. All the best.

Great news and good luck with the recovery.

Do as the docs tell you, they know the right pace of recovery even if you want it to be quicker smile

Glad to hear it all went well..Its going to be a tough time learning to walk again but you can do it..You have a strong will and that is a blessing..Oh and if it comes to it we will put up a small marquee with a motorised wedge shape bed...There will be two maidens washing you down each morning but the ONLY drawback is it will have to be with cold water..As not to attract attention..If you know what i mean..hehe..Good luck with a speedy recovery...Ziga

The best Sprint article I've read in years, apart from the accident bit which I had to re-read to make sure I hadn't imagined it. Glad you're on the mend. My best wishes to you.
