Hi all - please vote and discuss here so we can keep the Nominations thread uncluttered.

There was a young man called Zig
Who loved his car very big
Was his heart
but his car was a tart
and ran off with a man they call the Stig

I am so happy that Adam has started a new post where we can express our views for votes through songs or poems. I wrote an affectionate poem to promote Zig for the 'Personality of the Year Award' earlier, and got told off for posting in the wrong section. I apologise for this mistake and hope that I haven't offended anyone or caused unnecessary delay in the voting process. For those of you who missed my poem in the few minutes it was on the forum and are eagerly waiting to read it, service has now been resumed here in the correct section, as follows:-

He is a man with a burning ambition
A great Wedge and tradition
He is kind, considerate and makes many friends
His advice is honest, but sometimes offends

Ask him any question
Be it Wedge, women, or whatever you’re after
He leaves no stone unturned
To find the answer

Who is this man, you might ask?
And why is he so popular and big?
Well that would be our very own
Lovable Zig

Some say he listens to ‘Abba’
Others say that’s not true
Probably only happens
When he’s feeling down and blue

He talks up front and without fear
Though sometimes from the rear
That is what makes Zig
‘The personality of the year’

Tony. TCB.
PS. Adam I was impressed by your poem. It's more direct and to the point than mine.

Thanks Tony..You are a lyrical genius..And thanks to E.J for his kind words..tongue out..Im really not sure about who to vote for as there are so many of you that are worthy...
All of you have helped me with advice on fixing the car or just giving me the strength to carry on when i felt like giving up..You also have big hearts when it comes to charity.
And then there are those of you who have helped me beyond the forum..So i have equal respect for each and every one of you..This is going to be difficult...Ziga

No poem from me but Zig definately gets my vote.

OK so I am not a Wedgie and I accept my vote may not be counted.

But if Zig does not win this award it could only be a fix.

If it's a Wedge personality you are looking for you only have 3 choices.

1) Zig

2) Zig

or.. yes you guessed it.

3) Zig

Reasons:

1) Helps anyone

2) Makes friends with everyone (including Chimps)

3) Set up his own Wedgie meet (with added sausage)

4) Takes st off bullies and comes back with a joke & a smile

5) Does it all on a budget & never complains

Go Zig..go Zig....go Zig woohoo

Just my two penith worth as an external observer from over in the Chimp cage.

Zig makes me smile
every once in a while
with his funny remarks
or sometimes his snarks

Ok Wedgies, I relent... here's my attempt at a poem:

Zig takes a dig.... Zags back with a gag tongue out

Struggles with cash... Resolves with a bash smash

Helps his mates... Deflects all the hates rolleyes

Determined & kind... If you don't vote for Zig confused

YOU MUST BE TOTALLY BLIND cool

Yeah, Zig for me

It's personality of the year ....not restorer.

The Hatter has my admiration no doubt. (and i'm sure he is a top guy) but restoration photos is all i have seen.

But he's not the only one grafting at restoring a basket case....just happens to be a Seac.
White Elephant would win the coveted "restorer" Vote surely.

Wooly, GV, Zig, Ralph 350i and many many others are working hard to get them up and running, but they don't count because the are "lesser models" ????

Seems the Seac droolers club have not read the title.

He may have one or two critics on here, but i guarantee they are alone and unpopular because of their cyber-bullying tactics.
Some of them would win dedication to the Marque awards, or other.....but not a popularity contest.
