Hi Peeps..Well i must now say that since joining this forum i have met some stubborn, Funny, Caring, Helpful and down right good people..I came on here with a basket case of a car and all of you have helped me persevere to sort it out..(Slowly but surely)..Some of you have physically worked on my wedge which will always mean more to me than just any old mechanic working on it..we all share the same passions, The stresses and dramas of wedge ownership..It is certainly a fraternity..Last year my ultimate goal was the wedgefest as i had read a lot of articles surrounding it and i was very excited to actually be going to one, Then i was asked from ours truely..MrTank..if i would like to help organise it..I was very honoured and did run away with it a bit but andy pulled me into perspective which i thank him for..I very nearly didnt make it through the problems i had with my wedge but i was not going to let anything stop me as i felt i would be letting andy and all of you down..The weather was appalling but people rallied round regardless,Even if it was around the gazeebo..
..Everyone seemed happy to be a part of it..I caught andy smiling a lot on them couple of days even though he was in a wheelchair so i know he was happy and to be perfectly honest i didnt see anyone who wasnt!!..The saturday night was fantastic..As a kid my mum always used to play elvis records which we loved as well, I dont think there is one i dont know..Then who bursts through the hall doors..Our very own..Elvis wedgely..Wow.."What a night"..Every table i looked at people were cheering and clapping, Singing along and thoroughly enjoying themselves..This was all made possible by the determination of the "Godfather of TVRs"..Andy i applaud you..I also applaud every single person who made it work as well..SO..Can we all PLEASE help again firstly by helping to take the stress of it all off Andy's head a bit by booking rooms, Putting your names down for the friday night and saturday night meals..Humpers for adam..Prizes for the raffle..Auto-jumble..And/or anything else that is required to make this year on par if not better than last year..Time is ticking chaps so lets do the man proud and do the decent thing...I for one am looking forward to it again and by hook or crook i will get there..I raise a glass to you all..(Or two)..Ziga
