I needed to replace the swan neck since a pressure test revealed leakage from a small dent in the brass seal
I was going to replace with a standard item from Adam but time pressure meant going a different route:

The ears holding the cap are much stronger
The seal area is much larger (about 4 times) so a reseal will probably work
The QH FC57 cap fits well
There is only 1 joint at the filler
The overflow hose fits fine (just trimmed the rubber hose)
downsides ?
Only available in 32 or 38mm but silicone reducers are available and 35mm rubber coolant hose will fit the large size
You have to cut the swan neck
Please do not let your pet hamster, rabbit, gerbil etc cut the pipes: use one of these

I've just done that too - my replacement S/S jobbie from a well known supplier had a brass seal which was totally useless at keeping the pressure despite the many adjustment I tried. Needless to say I'm not into pretty upgrades if they don't the job they were supposed to do in the first place...
