Wish i had a Griff
Discussion
Yeah, I,m feeling in a great holiday mood at the moment, I've finished work for 4 days, just shared a bottle of Australia's finest chardonnay with my wonderful wife, the weather is superb, the Griff has a full tank and is looking stunning on the drive.
What more could you ask for?
Thanks for the kind thoughts.
By the way, all are welcome, with weather this good it would be rude not to!!!

Yeah bring the SEAC
Whaaat! and be ushered into the "over there next to the eurobox 3 rows behind the Lada car park in the next field Matey"
Bit like what we did to the Chimp
Have a good one RAW
Strange you say that - we had a few spare seats in SEAC's at the BBWF and quite a few people did fill those spare seats ... and really enjoyed it ..
Do I wish I had a Griff .. no - I'm very happy to stand out from the crowd in my SEAC but I really hope the Griff meet make 100 cars ... come on 'us' old wedge owners could manage around 90 cars and our weather looked really bad on the Friday .. yours looks like being the best weekend for weather of the whole year.
Hope you all have a great time - take it easy

Rev,
I've been following the various Griif Growl threads with interest. It strikes me that the organisers are going to have a nightmare should many people turn up (especially the weather watchers)that have not pre-paid! ie. they will have to vet cars arriving, fill out booking forms and take money from those not booked in.
I can picture you sat in a hut checking/selling tickets all weekend at next years BBWF
I sincerely hope the Growl is a huge success but must say that the philosophy and format at BBWF is the way to go

Dicky - I think you are right .. but we very very lucky to have found somewhere that was free .. but the big problem by allowing 'full' TVR cc is many others could turn up .. I think we could have parked another 50 cars but after that it would not have been good !
It worked OK really well - but I was a bit worried on the numbers..

Steve hi
I'm just trying to rustle up some other southern interest but it seems people are busy/working this weekend. I have two options at the moment and neither of them involved the M40 (quick but too boring)
a) there is a small convoy of local griffs coming up the A41 - might tag along or
b) come up the A40 on my own
Happy to meet somewhere although plan b) will involve an earlier start c7.30am than a) (the convoy is leaving at 9am)
Any good???
