just got a set goodridge braided brake set for the wedge, prices are all over the place, if look for 350i set they want from 65 to 105 pounds a set , but if drive v6 there are just 42.21 a set and are the same as a V8 its just not fair, for having the best sounding car in the world clapears

Reminds me of when i was looking for a replacement set of original indicator stalks..For classic mini..45 smackers + vat each side..Triumph 35 + Vat each side..Stag 133 + Vat each side..They are all the same!!..I suppose its a bit like the TVR tax in certain shops..I tend to by-pass them.

Zig,

Indicator stalks - as far as I know the later Triumph/Leyland ones are all the same - Triumph Saloon/Stag/Dolomite/Spitfire and some TR7/Mini/Marina/Allegro as well ....

The buggers at BL always used to charge different prices according to model and had different part numbers for same item (across LOTS of parts), which I always thought was price gouging of the worst kind.

Triumph Sports Six club used to do a "Common Parts" catalogue which showed the cheapest option for identical parts across models. I remeber that a Vitesse engine mount was HALF the price of a TR6 one, and they were/are IDENTICAL.

I don't think Ford UK did that trick (or not often), as they had common part numbers across several models.
