Hi

Well it's not been good for some "wedgers" this last Six months!

Starting with my accident, then the sad loss of "wee man" and now the news about Neil (Pistolar) what else can happen to our community.

At least the fest is fast approaching at which I think we need to remmeber the "wee man" and Neil's and for his fast recovery.

Yes we are doing the trophy for the "wee man" but a few words about him and Neil on the day I think would be approate.

O! don't worry about me, I am going to be there to annoy you and hopefully have some fun!

Andy

Neil

Has unfotunately lost a leg, how and why I don't know. But he's getting on!

Dave (Barrington) can properly give more details if Neils wants us to know!

Jeez frown

I met Pistolar at the Essex TVRCC meets years ago when I had an S. Saved me with some parts once, and I have amusing memories of him hooning a wedge to Ride of the Valkyries.

Read about your accident in Sprint. Hope you're on the mend, and that things pick up for everyone mentioned on this thread. smile

Thanks for all the good wishes and concern.
Ive lost my left leg but st happens and a new chapter begins. I will be going home next week after 8 weeks in hospital. Nurses have been brilliant but the so called Rehab team arent worth a wk.
Cheers Neil

Chin up fella, and all the best.

Can't imagine you not driving a wedge - so got any plans? Auto? Hand controls?

Neil,
Sorry to hear this, but keep your chin up.

A colleague of mine lost his leg through diabetes a few years ago.
He's now back at work, and it's difficult to know that he has a prosthetic limb.

He's even back coaching junior football.

Thanks for all your concern and good wishes. Rather embarassed by all the fuss but also have been amazed at the goodwill there is out there. Good luck with trying to catch that Cod Zigmeister.

This neil. I was nearly in the same boat in 2006 when I was crushed at work. It's not 100% but I'm thankful I didnt lose it. Keep your chin up bud and so sorry to hear this news. Good luck Neil.
