Car was pulling to right under heavy braking and pulling slightly to the right whilst driving. Swapped front tyres and now its pulling to the left under heavy braking and pulling worse to the right whilst driving. gunna swap the front tyres to the rear and vice versa. Heads cabbaged here. Mental cars these tvrs.

Maybe some balancing lead fell off? I'd go to a tire shop and have them take a look on the machine should sort it quick!

I would get your tracking checked too as the cars pulling to.the right slightly.
Do you know a mot station to have a quick balance check of the fronts on there rollers.
Im sure you will get it sorted Dix

Dix..It sounds like you need to get your brake balance tested on some rollers..It could be a combination of things..Brake pads un-even..track rod ends need re-tracking..collapsed brake hose which can happen under braking..When you apply the pedal the fluid movement can cause a vacuum..Get it checked out as brakes are not something to be messed with...Cheers..Ziga

jeff check as mentioned weights and pressure in tyres, check the simple things first before going of on one about the Tiv, lol.Because it was pulling to the right then you changed tyres about now pulling to the left does suggest that it is the wheel/tyre.

Don't worry about it Dix, with a man's arms (like some of us have) i'm surprised you noticed !!

Must have been your wifes hairdresser driving it then !

More excersise is the result....bit more steering wrestling.

• If pistons stick IN; then the car may steer to the stuck side when not braking and
to the opposite side under braking due to less effective braking on the stuck side.

• If the pistons stick OUT; then the car may steer to the opposite side under
braking.

It did have a advisory a couple of years ago for the above mentioned on the nearside Tony. That could be feasible as i have tried all of the mentioned above ie loose weights, tracking, tyre pressures and overhaul of cylinders on calipers. The only other thing i havent tried is changing the flexi and a load of people have said that the flexi could have collapsed. But the wheel bearing scenario ticks alot of boxes.

Oh aye and yer Gav its easy to rectify when i brake heavy cause im not a PUSSSSSSY like all the PAS drivers, it just gets in the way when im flashing off my 22" biceps to some babe and i have to grab the wheel when it runs off left when im coming to traffic lights. Yo know the score dont ya Gav as you are the same and have arms like Garth!!!!!!
