Does anyone have an old master cylinder reservoir or an old master cylinder they want to sell, with a reservoir on it that I can remove and use to refurbish mine. My system is modified at the moment and I want to revert back to the old system. Also, does anyone know what car the brake master and reservoir come from? My car is a 400SE. Any info would be very welcome and would keep my wallet healthy. Thanks in advance to all keen Wedgers.

Any suggestions on the source of the original brake reservoir on the 400SE would be very welcome. Thanks.

Hi Mate..Right ive just looked in the "Bible" and it says.."As jesus said unto his disciples"..Oops..Wrong bible..eerr..here we go..It says there were several different master cylinders used..The main difference is the number of hydraulic connections coming from it..The three connection type were typically ford cortina..Try to see if there is a part number on the side mate as thats all it says..Ziga

This has two connections from the side and there is a number on it but its sort of upside down. I'll try and read it using a mirror and let you know. Zig, thanks mate, I can always rely on you.

Mk 4/5 Cortina. Think the 2.8 Capri master cylinder fits but has a different reservoir.
