280i up for sale on PH
Discussion
Hi
A Black customised 280i DH has just been advertised for sale on PH
(No its not mine!)
Now this car has had some work, no price only offers!
Well what do people think?
Will it sell?
It would give us something else to look at at the fest if he will bring it (new or old owner)

Hi
Looks like someone spent a lot of time money and effort on this wedge but it doesn't appeal to me at all.Now styling is a very subjective issue
and theres a couple of ideas that i really like but theres a couple of bits that really jar and dont seem to fit the theme of the car - the front silver bumper in particular. Still each to their own, who am i to judge?
A nice wedge just not to my tastes

Hey guys this is my car... interesting reading your thoughts, thanks for sharing. Andy, thanks for the info on the BBWF, I'm actually abroad on this date but I'm keen to get my TVR up to the show, so may well lend it to a mate to wizz up there...
Re colours and styling; I hear what your saying guys, I know this style is not for everyone. I had similar thoughts myself when I first saw - just the photos, but when you see this car in real life, the colour scheme just somehow works as such a great job has been done. With the hood up there's no yellow to be seen, looks like a glossy black wedge even on closer inspection, you have to be on the floor to see the yellow spaceframe chassis and know it's there... but when you flip the hood and see the engine, or step inside and see the yellow areas, it really has that wow factor, feels like your in some crazy film. It's definitely a daring theme, almost Kill Bill-esque, all it really needs now.. is yellow leather clad Uma Thurman to drive it to the BBWF and I think you'll all agree it rocks! ha! ;-)
