Yeh and look at what the do-nuts have pumped the price to already,if one is really serious about buying something like that for a bargain don't encourage other bidders by placing bids far too eary, that's suicide for your own bank account.
Look nice though.

No centre caps is going to suck. Woudl be a good deal if you go to trackdays so you can burn up those slicks.

Hi

Have a good look at the pics, at least one is badly warped, yes that maybe repairable, but they need a full Jimbo refurb at least!

These are my wheels,

The price hasn't been bumped up, that's just what they are at. smile

One of the lips has a slight ding, but the others are all fine. They all hold air.

The same lip as the ding is very slightly different as can be seen in the pics and ad. It is more rounded towards the split bolts, and is more slanted than flat like the others. Not massively noticeable but it is different.

Anyone who wants to come and have a look is more than welcome, just message me on eBay!

Hi
That is very good of you to provide that info!

Ref price, to me they are at £200 cheap! So no problem from me there!

Shame I don't think I need another set, or do I?

I only noticed the difference in the lip this morning when someone came to view them, otherwise it would have been in the main ad!

I was unaware of what they were when I got them, but have since found this section in the forum where I have learned a lot about them! Just need some of those rare centres biggrin

Initially they were intended for my golf (flame me now!) as they were sold to me as 17".

If you measure them across the rims they do indeed measure 17x10 hehe

Wasn't my suggestion that mates whip the bidding up although I agree it can happen, from a sellers point of view its good to get early bids on ya item but from a buyers perspective its better to attract little interest, all depends which side of the fence you are at the time, makes me laugh to see a bidding frenzy too early, more fun to see it during the last minute!

I spotted them a couple of days ago and thought they would look good on mine but then for 60 slobberoonies more i can get my original wheels refurbed..Shame there are no centres..Someone could earn some wongolas making some..Not sure how you would cast alloy though..I suppose it could be in sand like cast iron..Or the lost cast process?..Ziga

Ministig, why don't you keep the wheels, but slowly replace bits of the Golf, starting with the hubs, working your way up bit by bit until you have a Wedge on 17" rims?

I reckon you'll have no problem selling them tbh. The rims can be straightened anyway. Refurbed they'll look the danglies........

I reckon you'll get good money too
