Does anyone fancy a gathering of wedges : a 'Wail' or for Seacs perhaps that should be 'Whale tail' ..

Meeting on Wednesday 18th August at 19:30 at the Jovial Sailor in Ripley (just off the A3 in Surrey).

There will be a few other TVR's present as it's the TVR CC Surrey meet .. they are a very friendly bunch !

Let me know if you can make it ..

I May be offloading the wedge at Bexhill on this date and then heading to Putney, so maybe an opportunity to join you for a while.

I'll bring the SEAC along. I've already mailed Steve. You up for a meet in Wycombe? It'd be interesting to compare the two!

Rev & Co
Now that I know what I am doing next week, it looks like I can come along next Wednesday.

Just had small job done on the 450 today by local tvr inde. Fingers crossed the problem of the exhaust pipe banging and rubbing on the driveshaft has been fixed perm. I hope. Not had chance to look under car yet - but mainly acheived by fitting big bobbin one side of silencer and small bobbin on other side and twisting silencer at the 2 manifold pipe connections. Pipe that runs accross rear to exit position is now nice and horizontal.
See you about 7:30

Update: On a wing and a prayer, I'll be there *in* the wedge, as my plans to use a trailer for the trip came to nought. Hope to see you all there. I'm stopping off in Aldershot first to collect this:

Should just about fit in the boot.

Rev: Any prizes for furthest travelled?
