Saturday night or should i say early Sunday morning. I decided it was to bloody hot to sleep so hit on the idea of getting the wedge out for a drive. Interestingly for me and the neighbours it wasTHREE FIFTEEN IN THE MORNING And i thought a wedge was loud in the daytime!!!!!
Excellent way to cool off though...i had the A1M all to myself. It was like private hiring Hatfield tunnel....absolutely..bang on old boy, what a laugh.

Maybe we can employ this idea at next years BBWF??Or not...

Excellent Not done it in the Wedge yet but I did it in my Cobra. Must admit to feeling a bit anti-social .....; Well until I got off our street anyway !!

I did exactly the same thing. Me and the missus went out for a roof off blast at 3pm.

We don't like the neighbours anyhow

Ony trouble is in the morning it was death on stick on the front of the car. Talk about bug city.

It took me a good half hour to get 'em off.

Well i do have to confess, i did push the car down the drive so as not to wake my children...other than that, no negative noises from the neighbours. I got home by 04:30 just as it was getting light. Back into bed and slept like a baby, thoroughly recommend it.
Mind you the wife didn't even notice i had gone...

The best part of working the night shift was the home at 3:30. Funnily enough my old neighbours moved shortly after I started working those hours

If there was a full on convoy I think ears would start to bleed

Been through there following a Griff - it sounded like Nascar had come to Dartford!

On the subject of moonlit proficiency runs - done that a few times - woke a mate up last summer who lived close to a dual-carrigeway roundabout at about 4:45 - 'it was all blips, pop's & bangs'

Come to think of it, Le Surrey Run-2 is in less than 1 month ...... If any Wedges fancy joining the Surrey Crew for a visit to Champagne.....
