If so i may have someone interested in taking the shots....

Well volunteered! Do you have video too? Perhaps set that up on a tripod running constantly during the first hour or so.

Finally - don't forget a USB lead or some such so we can transfer onto a laptop for the evening slideshow....

Does anyone know whats the best time for him to be there?

In my experience the main traffic coming in on the Saturday is between 1030 and 12, if really keen start at 10.
