My oil pressure is sky high and doesn't drop when the engine is hot, I heard somewhere this may be down to the relief valve sticking.
Anyone know if this is correct and will it do any damage if it's not fixed?

OK, ignore my post, I just thought I would check the wiring from the oil pressure sensor and there was a wire missing. It was connected to another sensor which, according to my info is not used by TVR. I swapped the connector over and now I have the correct pressure on my gauge.

That was a cheap fix, another job crossed off the list!

Just for the record if the Pressure relief valve sticks the oil pressure plummetts
and the oil warning light (hopefully) comes on

I know as mine stuck when I was on my 3rd run up Harewood Hillclimb on the driving school day

It has now been "machined" so it won't stick again
