They look well tidy..Is that the bentley cross pattern you were talking about?..You may as well get the carpet done while the seats are out, Are they going to make you over mats as well...Ziga

Yes it is the Bentley cross stich pattern.

I'm going to do the carpets, they look ok but are actually starting to rot with all the water they had to put up with. The trimmer is going to copy the carpet pattern and make up new ones with edge trim and backing, so they should look nice. I also had the door handles trimmed in the same blue as the piping as the veneer on them was looking pretty bad.

So with tha agravation from the rear brakes as well I don't think she will be on the road as quickly as I first wanted. Still, there is a certain satisfaction to fitting new parts.

It sure is satisfying when new bits are fitted..The rear brakes are unfortunately a right pig, Someone i know had his upgarded with extended bleed nipples for easy access..They are a right nightmare if they snap in sitchu..One of the reasons why i havent replaced my fluid yet..Hopefully next year i will be having new ones fitted with the upgrade..
I should be having mine re-trimmed later on this year..Cant wait...Ziga

Have you got any recommendations on replacement shocks?

Hi Mate...I havent needed to venture down that route ..Yet!!..Not too sure about the recommendations for shocks..Some people have gone for adjustable Konis or AVOs..Do yours need changing or just cleaning up?..Someone else might be able to point you in the right direction for those..Ziga

GAZ adjustables on mine with adjustable platform (helps in the rear tyre not hitting the body) and it does a good job. Also GAZ adjustable on the front.
