I ordered the wrong type fuel pump, my old one had screw on type connectors, the new one has spade click-on type. Can i just go to my local electrical equipment store and get spade ends that fit or is there a convertor cable of sorts cause i'm awful at crimping on stuff.

What my new ones look like:

And what i should've ordered:

The rest fits well though luckily! smile

Spade connectors are fine but make sure you observe the correct polarity! Compression sleeves are ok but i would solder the ends on then properly heat shrink the joint as all the weather gets on to this area under the car.

I'm thinking about making a convertor cable of sorts with similar O ring connector on one side and the spade on the other, so it's easy to remove and i wont mess it up... Obviously with liberal amounts of electrical tape around it to protect it from the elements.
