175 miles + 33 mpg, happy days

Had the 350i out today for a bit of a blast and a pre run out before the BBWF, its this week you know!
The car ran superbly, no overheating even stuck in traffic, the new ignition and distributor have stopped the intermittent revving problem and the car has dried out nicely!
Im chuffed to bits!
I also got loads of smiles and a few waves too.
Really looking forward to the weekend now!

I was taking it easy because I may or may not have attended a speed awareness course and need my licence and no points for work purposes!!!

The fishing gear has been tried and tested in the car, and its all good.
Chris, I made a minor 'adjustment'
to the valley cover that was impeding the distributor using the 'Technical tap' method but it has only adjusted it by another 2 degrees, so the timing is still only at 2 degrees from TDC, but she is running sweetly, albeit a bit wrong, and hopefully the rolling road will be able to sort ot out!
Still cant get it to pop and bang, but I think there needs to be some exhaust 'adjustment'
Rusties here we come!
