headlights

I have taken my 390 for a service,check over and MOT.
The Cambridgeshire garrage witch avertise as TVR specialists are having trouble with the headlights is this normal practice.I am not suggesting anything is untoward but is is taking a long time.
Any insite would be appreciated.

And yes they can be awkward.
