the car im working on is giveing me fits it was bloing exhaust out the rad cap so we had the engine rebuilt well the checked for cracks and everything else and said there was nothing so i put it back in the car and it get hot really fast like it still has exhaust coming out as soon as i start it can anyone help i cant think of anything else that can be wrong

What car / engine is it? If it's the V8 it could be air in the system - this is a known problem. I think we need more info before anyone can offer any help.

From what little you have told us its more likley to be a fured up radiator, if the water is restricted to much it startes to over heat in the engine and just blows the rad cap. I had this trouble, I tried de-scaling it, and water seemed to pour straight through the rad, but it was not enough to stop the pressure build up. new/refurb rad cost me £40.
