Hello Wedgers,

I've got to replace the rear tyres on my Wedge. It's been a while since they were last changed, and in that time Bridgestone has stopped manufacturing the Potenza in the 205/60/R15 91V specification.
I have been told that the best replacement for the Potenza is the Bridgestone Turanza. Has anyone used these, or found good alternatives to the Potenza?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

All the best

Turanza really isn't a potenza tire, they're ok but not on the same level of sporty.

Falken ZIEX or Toyo T1 are good and reasonably priced alternatives, the ziex 912 is what i'm gonna put on mine when it needs tires had those on my previous sportscar and they were great for the price.

Uniroyal Rainsport are great tires if you take the wedge out in the rain a lot, more pricey though. They do have amazing in the wet grip though.

Thanks for the detailed reply, it's really been a great help. I think from a little more research that the Toyo Proxes T1 R are first choice, followed by the Falken Ziex.

I'll check back in when they are on.

Thanks again

Unfortunately the T1-R isn't available in the right size frown A pity as I love this tyre, and have it on my daily driver.

Toyo do a CF1 which I'm looking at, also looked at the Ziex 912.

I really wish Toyo would do the T1-R in a 205/60 15, it's quite a common 'classic' performance size.

Ziex 912 is good too way sportier than a CF1
