Thought I had sold my 400SE ...

potential buyer drives for 4 hours to look at car - deal agreed (incl handshake) subject to me renewing MOT. I get MOT done (no advisories), then buyer backs out saying worried about the money. FFS.

Yes, true. It just very frustrating wasting a day of holiday and have someone back out of a handshake.

I've now got someone allegedly wanting to buy the car without seeing it, has an agent, can't accept phone calls, doesn't have internet banking and wants to pay immediately by paypal only. Lol ... must be some sort of scam.

Yeah you'll probably end up getting a vague email from a bank or paypal (fake ofcourse) saying they have loads of money for you and will hold it until the buyer recieves the car.
