Hi. I've finally found time to post on the forum! I am the proud owner of the controversial 350 se number 6 which was advertised on here a couple of months ago! Whether it is or isn't the real number 6 i dont really mind as i absolutely love the car to bits and the sound is amazing!! Im new to tvr ownership so just wanted to say hi and look forward to meeting other wedge owners soon. If anyone is interested i'll post some pictures on here soon.

Hi wavey

I hope you enjoy your wedge as much as everyone on here does. I would love to see more pics. I especially like the centre exit exhaust, looks mega.

Welcome to the world of Wedges, but be careful. Wedge ownership is addictive. I remember some years back when I sold my first Wedge, I had withdrawal symptoms and had to quickly go out and buy another, only it had to be bigger and better. I am on my third Wedge now and reasonably content, though I couldn't imagine being without one. I would miss the roaring sound, the superb handling and the powerful acceleration. But above all I would miss my Sunday cruise along the high street in sunny weather, posing, for all to see. Everyone looking and pointing in my direction and presumably saying, 'look at that guy in that cool sports car' and reaching for their cameras with the long lenses. This my friend can only be achieved in a Wedge. So, look after that Wedge and there will be many years of enjoyment ahead of you.

Tony. TCB.

Great looking car.

Question ! (to all)

Did all later cars (mines 83) have "american lights" cut into the "trunk" or was it SE cars etc only ??

Never noticed before.

OP, This is not an is it isn't it question !!

As far as I know this is just something that a previous owner has done. It certainly isn't on my (89) SE and I haven't seen it on any others

Thanks for all the comments - much appreciated!

First job I need to do is sort the roof as there is a tiny hole on 1 side and the window has clouded up. Can anyone recommend the best place to go in Dorset?

Cheers

If the hole is where it folds down it could be the hoop rubbing against the surround - so I would get that sorted out first or it will just happen again.
