Hi Peeps...I have been experiencing brake judder whenever i brake in a normal fashion..I noticed that when braking hard it tends not to happen..There is quite a bit of play in the top ball joints on both sides and im wondering if this could be the cause?..I dont want to replace the discs unless i really have to as they were relatively new and problem free when first fitted...The pads are good also...cheers..Ziga

Mark if the ball joints are worn that will not be helping. Get under the front of the car with a good sized pry bar and a light and test all the joints. Also look at the wheel bearings check for excessive play. Do the same for the rack if the track rod ends are good. Check the dampers bushes and their action. Finally have a good root round the anti roll bar bushes and the column joints and bushes especially the bulkhead bush. If all is well then maybe the discs but rarely they warp if you are not tracking the car.
