Strange issue while on 1st long drive out

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Went on my 1st long drive out on saturday in the wedge. It ran really well for the main part but once while in 5th at low revs when i went to accelerate nothing happened!! Slowley rolled to a stop at the side of the road thinking whats going on but as soon as i stopped i touched the accelerator again and she started reving like normal!! No ignition lights came on etc, still running (ish) just woulnt accelerate. Drove for a good few miles after and no problems. I did notice a small intermittant miss at about half way down on the accelerator. But nothing major.

Any pointers would be great.

I had a similar intermittent problem a while back and it turned out to be the multiplug on the ECU half hanging out

I had a look at the ECU last week before the drive cause it wouldnt start and the multiplug was hanging out. Thought i had put it back in and clipped it together so it shouldnt have come back out but i will check it and make sure.

Hi Ben, that happened when I drove it home after buying it. It was the ECU plug worked its way half out.

I think i put it all back tight etc when it cane out the other day but i will go and check. Guess it could have worked loose again.
