Hi peeps..Well after all the frustrating concerns of the other day i thought some therapy was in order so i have started to clean the supercharger kit..Unfortunately my home is fast becoming a garage...I think the next garage that comes up has got to be had, Even if there is poo in there!!...Anyway here is a pic of the kit which is very greasy, I have ordered myself a 4" mop set as doing it by hand takes forever..But i have done a couple of bits just to see..very relaxing...cheers...Ziga

The kit:

Some pipework before:

After a clean:

The pulley wheel is massive and the cross member going across from the suspension mounts will need fabricating..Not major..

Hi Mate..There are all sorts of laquer's out there but ideally once its been polished the best way is to wipe it over regularily with a clean soft cloth..You can use Autosol or similar on a clean cloth and then buff it up once in a while...This will help retain the finish...Laquer's will tarnish the alloy eventually as it traps air between the finish and the layer of laquer,I wouldnt use it..Bit of elbow grease is a much better product..And again..Very Therapeutic..Or is that just me... smile
