Knebworth Classic Car Show
Discussion
Hi
Well we had a great day out at Knebworth, we doubled the number of TVRs at the show! (Most went on Sunday)

Mr Sheen took the SEAC into the arena for the loudest car competition and got third prize (A video clip will be posted late on this) But we think it won on the bases that it was a the only non modifird vehicle compared with the 1st and 2nd cars!
We are taking the "Yellow Beast" and SX to a charity event tonight which might include a run up the runway at Alconbury Airfied so will hopefully get some pics and video of that to post up soon!

Blimey...I get more than that turning up at the "sausage meets"..Come on fellow wedgers you must try harder next time...I will hopefully be going to the one up your end Andy on the 16th sept then theres one in kent on the 23rd sept..For which i have forms for entry if needed, I will post it up nearer the time and then theres one on the 27th Sept at Thorsby Hall in Nottinghamshire that i hopefully will be attending..And of course there is the BNG and regular "sausage meets" in between..So as you can see im trying to do my bit for the TVR wedge community...

I don't recall you having more than six cars at your meets in one go!
Plus it was a two day all day not a couple of hour event and the Sunday was a better day weather wise and more cars! Mind you we would have still gone in poor weather to show the flag, unlike your fair weather sausagers!

Also the event had not had the constant badgering on the forum, so there is no comparision!
It's no good saying you are going to events to show the flag and the slight sign of poor weather and you will not go!
Ref the event on the 16th there will be at least 7 wedge's no matter the weather so lets see if you attend all you are claiming you are doing, then you can claim what you have done!

Unlike your event which is published every week this event was not published on the forum untill it was know that it was being held! (Two days before) so there was no chance of getting more wedges there, especally as it was a full day event on a Bank Holiday Monday not a hour or so on a Sat!
Also your event is just for your own personel get together (weather permitting) with any help to the wedge world that is debatable! To get the wedge name about you have to go to events (Other than TVR events) to get the name of wedges and TVR out there, all you are doing is preaching to the converted!
