Fuel tanks

Hi all.

As you may or may not know, my wedge is currently in my friends workshop for repair As well as having the rear discs and callipers replaced, I'm also having the rear end re-bushed with poly bushes whilst it is in bits.

Anyway onto the point of this post. My friend has taken the left rear fuel tank out and discoverd that it may well need replacing So does anybody know where I could get a new fuel tank from if I need it? The car is a 1980 series 1 FHC. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a fairly simple design, I'd guess you'd soon find a fabricators who could knock one (or two) up for you...

Talk to the Tazzie racers as many have replaced them with smaller race tanks.
