121 quid seems rather cheap - I'm sure I pay more than that....

Sounds like the tax is a fraud upon the people.

Aha - 6 months. If you want to save a few quid get 12 months and then get a refund 2 days short of the 6 months being up. Then you get half your money back. Of you can let it run to 7 months if the weather is good, or 5 months if bad.

Now that's not a bad idea at all.

Try £460 (now that is painful) for my X3 (3.0D) as well as 12 months worth for the Wedge and Cerb...

Between the 3 cars I do about 8000 miles per year. Totally and utterly unfair. But like someone else said- don't get me started!

I do hope the complainers signed that e petition a few months back,it ran its coarse and got only 21000 votes so pretty pith poor really. We need to start a revolution again in this so called land of the free.
And griffithy pays £121 per month, majority being screwed right up the rectosaurus again whilst some very wealthy recipients keep on puffing in the trough.

I feel sorry for the BS you guys/gals have to go through just to drive a car.

There's no yearly safety or emmissions inspections here. Gasoline is $1.16/L
My annual licence plate sticker is only $77 a year. My insurance with $1m liability coverage
is only $650 a year.

You guys are getting screwed.

Hi Mike,

this sounds very tempting.
How difficult and expensive is it to get the later TVRs with Cats, like Griffith, Tuscan and Cerbera on the road in Canada?

Maybe time to leave the European Titanic.

Why can't we just bin car tax and put it on fuel, then the more miles you do the more you pay, we catch all the foreigners using our roads for nothing, don't have to build toll booths and even s will have to pay.

Simple. Also ecomentalists will be happy as someone with a 8 litre engine will pay more to fill it up, but low mielage drivers won't mind the difference.

That's sounds a great idea apart from one thing, we already pay over the top for fuel!

There is a real solution to all of this...STOP fighting other peoples war's..STOP giving away money thats been robbed from us to give to terrorist's...STOP importing food from other countries and grow it here....STOP giving benefits to people who come into the country illegally...STOP paying massive executive bonuses to the already filthy rich..Have a four year incentive bonus instead...STOP giving money for foreign aid and start looking after people here..They can be educated and invested in...STOP government benefits outright....STOP being bullied into buying oil from america and make our own....STOP lending money to countries & people who cant afford to pay it back and instead create work and invest in the young...And STOP drinking whiskey when you are supposed to be discussing the future of this country....Simples...
