Nice looking wedge , how many's that now ?
Hi SteveKeep up

6 Wedges:
350i (The 1st production car.)
SX350i (The last SX made.)
280i Series 3 (The first of only 10 made.)
450SE
450SEAC
420SEAC racer (The factory yellow beast.)
Plus:
Cerbera 4.5
Tuscan Challenge race car. (The car has a great record of race wins, the original owner came 2nd and 3rd (twice) in the Challenge, including winning at Spa the only time the Challenge raced there)
As I have said before I am missing a FHC and 200 (Idea as a combo) missing to make a set of wedges etc.
With the help of friends and there cars we are telling the History of TVR under the Peter Wheeler era!
That also includes at present a engine disply extra to the ones in the cars, which in time will have every type of engine used/made by TVR in the Wheeler era!
In fact it's a moving Museum of TVR's from 1982 to 2004!

Hi Andy
Nice looking 450 and looks in top condition. It's the exact same one I had in the same colour inside and out that I sold a couple of years back before I bought my present yellow Wedge. The one I had needed a little work, but that wasn't the reason why I sold it. I am a bright colour man and I needed to buy a bright colour car. I only bought the 450 because the person selling it lived nearby and I was looking for a Wedge at the time. Spur of the moment thing. The person that bought mine took it abroad to Luxenbourg. Still I am more than happy with the one I have now.

Hi
I had my first good look over the car today, and its even better than I can remember from my quick look at the fest!
The colour is a great and it compliments the rest of the collection well!
The funny thing is when it arrived during the week it ran out of fuel before the driver could put it into the garage! Well a couple of cans later and it would not start!
Great as it going to the show tomorrow!
We took the plugs out and they didn't look good, so a quick trip to our local car shop for a new set.
Sorry sir we don't have any.
But will can have a set here in an hour
now that's service!
So an hour later new set in car, it fires up first turn, and it sounds great! Simon then took it for fuel and a blast along our bypass and she is a peach!
Thank you Nigel for selling it to me!

Glad you're happy with the 450 Andy.
Worst decision I've ever had to make to sell her but as I've said before she's gone to the best home I could have wanted her to go to.
Funny that she'd run out of fuel as I'd left half a tank in when left at Hexham. They've probably been moving her around for the month or so she was in there.
Saw your pictures of the other out rigger!! Funny how myself and two MOT testers missed that corrosion but it looked like it was in the area the body is mounted on the rubber packing strips to the chassis outriggers. Still, all sorted and good for another 20 years or so.
Have fun and enjoy the 450 as much as I did.

Yes I am very happy with the car!
Apart from the other outrigger I had two new rear tyres fitted and a new door hinge bush as well as a replacment rad as the old was leaking badley. So in all it cost a little to get it to the condition I like, but it's worth it!
Andy
