Last 2 items to finish interior

Hi all,
As the title suggests I need a couple of things to complete the sx's interior, the black plastic door vent that goes in the rear of the door card passanger side and the plastic trim of the ashtray or can anyone suggest what they are from.

Mine is broken and as I'm getting the door cards re-trimmed I thought I would just have them done without the vent.

Hi Chris

The vent is a hang over from the FHC!
When you try to close a door on a hardtop you cause a pressure build up, which stops the door closing smoothy, so the vent stops that! (Well that's the theory) Off course on a Conv that will not happen especially if the roofs down!

If you do away with the vent, you will find that in wet weather the interior will mist up badly. I covered mine up one winter and soon found out that it is needed.

So.....do we know what they are from or even a company do they have a little tell tale ford logo on them?
Ash tray looks a bit Layland to me, anyone shead any light????

I think you are correct the ash tray is ex BL but the vent I have no idea!

I can't be sure but I seem to remember the 2.8 Capri's had rectangular speaker covers in the doors as standard and they do look very similar to the vent cover on our wedges.

I never gave speaker covers a thought!!!!! Obvious!!!!!
70s-80s ford escort/ Capri, of course........now, flea bay.........
Andy, ashtray has to be of an allegro????or somthing equally as st.
