Hi

Well today was a big day for me.

It started off just being a normal Sunday, doing a few jobs on the "yellow beast"
The aim was to get the windows back working as I am taking it to D&C Trim tomorrow to have the roof retrimed and refitted and you need the windows to open with the roof on, otherwise the driver will get cooked!

Well wd did that OK.

The passangers window now has the original manual operated system refitted and working!
The drivers window is electric and this was refitted and a temp wiring loom fitted, and it works.

Then my new toy arrived, so after I gave it the once over look, I decided to try and get into it, and I managed to get into the passangers seat!

So for the first time since my accident last year I have sat in a TVR, and did it feel great!

I was in it for so long Simon brought me out my lunch and I eat it seated in style!

Well it was a great lunch!

Getting out of the car was also fun!

So overall a great day!

Well done for your determination Andy - I'm sure these purchases are the perfect tonic and incentive for a speedy recovery.

I'm sure one of those photos could be a 'caption competition' (eg 'There seems to be too many peas in this chassis number...)
...and to top it all if youtake the 'P'(no _un intended...) out of your numberplate it could read 'HEAL ME' (if you are dyslexic anyway..).

All the best, Paul.

Hi

Getting in was not to hard as gravity helped, getting out was not so easy and my right leg early today felt like I had broken it again! Which was a bummer as I was going to D&C trim with the "yellow beast" Andy (Mr Sheen) was going with me so he has taken it!

BecauseI have spent the morning resting it, it feels better and may not be as bad as I thought, time will tell!

Andy

Good to see you still causing trouble in the world of TVR. Only you would use the V5 Registration document of a TVR as a table cloth!

:-)

Keep going and happy TVR'ing as ever youth
