Well this time last year I was looking to sell the old girl as times were getting hard, this time I'm starting a new job and money issues are on the positive side for a change. I was thinking about upgrading to a 400 or 390 the only problem i have is the wedge i already have has no problems with it at all and looks if I do say so myself very good. Limbo at the mo, but if anyone is selling let me know and if it ticks the right boxes I could be tempted.

As you are married now then you should really be looking at a nice sensible family car.... like a FHC 2+2!

Ill do you a good deal, plus I reckon its faster than you 350i anyway!

Stick with what you have for a while Jeff. Winter is coming and you would not have much time to drive a new wedge with your new job . See how work goes first.

All sensible advice. I know that when I went from a 350 to a 400, the difference was night and day. The 390 was a rarer beast, so you might have more luck with a 400 when the time comes, depending on colour prefs etc. You wont regret itbiggrin

Why don't you drop a bigger RV8. Cheaper than getting an SE.
