I was out with my mate in his Chim when we passed through a heavy rain shower...OBVIOUSLY with the roof up, so no dampness encountered. biggrin

Marcus, we set at 11.30 for a run round East Lothian, enroute to Longniddry, we got caught out in that down pour.. I never seen it coming, it just happened..
This has been a crap year for crap weather.. Maybe next year will be fine...
I need my lottery win to move to France where the weathers ALOT better..

The weather is loads better here in Surrey.

Trouble is the roads are packed for about 18 hours of the day by comparison.

To be fair it was a beautiful sunny day in North Yorkshire, other than the one heavy shower up on the Moors. We were in a convoy with several top-down cars, which gave us all a bit of a laugh when we stopped for a break later (on our way to the Yorkshire Big Breakfast car meet). There was a lovely white 450SE there there, which lived up to my expectations of getting a cheer from the crowd who were watching the cars exit the venue for a burn up the road. Made the Ferraris etc sound quiet and was spinning his wheels through about 3 gears. biggrin

Wouldn't have minded getting wet in this one though. smile
