My rear section mild steel section has finally had to be replaced, more holes than a tee bag. so i have had a stainless custom section made but retained my old tail pipes which i like.slightly louder but sounds great and not silly money, well i dont think so but the wife begs to differ!got the pipes sticking out at a better angle than originally and a bit further as well.what do we think boys?
Like it and it looks like the exhaust exit on my wedge.
When you see the twin exhaust exit like that, it often it is positioned a bit too far to the right for my liking.
When putting the stainless exhaust on my wedge, had to make some alterations to have it exiting as it was before. A bit of cutting the exhaust at the back (it is a secondhand one from a 350i) and welding it back together did the trick, together with the adaptation to the bottom of the boot for it, but who needs a big boot....
As it is a continental wedge it had a silencer under the boot originaly, this is now 'missing' with the normal UK spec version, but the noise it makes is just a tad more, but mainly more powerful low down. And I like it
