Is there a date for BBWF 2013 yet?

Not sure if Mr T is up to it next year?...I hope he is..Adam wanted a break from it but im sure everyone can help out again to help make it possible..Beside's Oliver wanted to come back and i wanted him to sign my glove box...Only one lucky but well deserving wedger got that privilege last year and he wasnt even driving his wedge..

Hi
I know Adam doesn't want to help run it next year!
He has been a great help these last couple of years with running the event and it would be hard to run the event with out his help in some form!
But I understand his decision!
In anway I have been thinking the same as Adam, and certainly with the kind of c_ _ p which has been sent my way by certain parties, and also I have my continued health problems.
Maybe I should give it up!
Plus I have been thinking others should be given the opportunity to run the event if they want.
So I have been thinking off not putting my self forward to run it!
Because to run the event it needs the support of you wedger's!
Then I also think, why should I give in! I enjoy running the event, to see my hard work and organising come together and my fellow wedger's enjoy them selfs is worth it! Then I should also not bow to the way some people have been towards me etc.
So gents if you want to find somebody else to run the event then do so!
But I will be happy (Health permitting) to organise the event as before if you wish!
Unlike this year we don't have a clash of dates, now what was that with?
So an immediate decision is not needed till the end of this month!

Zig, i was another lucky Wedger as Oliver signed my glovebox as well, he sat in the car looking around in a wee world of his own then signed -- Another beauty from Oliver Winterbottom. Nice chap to listen to [all his stories].
Happy Wedger.

What I'd like to do - for once - is go along as a punter and enjoy it properly. That would also give me a chance to do a technical talk on something or other, and do it justice. I'll bump the BBWF FAQ in case it inspires some others to have a go.

I have considered it mate but i would maybe like to do something new and possibly something that involves all TVR's, I have been thinking about it for ages purely as i love going to meets and events..The BBWF is what it is and i wouldnt want to try to turn it into something that its not..I feel that there should be more events and a variety of types of events..I would like to have an event with fun challenges similar to a corporate event where perhaps we have teams of wedgers competing against all the other TVR groups..Tug of war..Wheel changing challenge..Race simulators as well as track use and possibly a runway...I have been looking for a venue and have found some and i will try to centralise it..It will take a lot of planning and research but hopefully will happen at some point..The next issue would be what time of year..weather permitting...And also what would it be called?...ZigaRob

Good thinking Mark, i am sure whatever you decide to do will be a success. Rob
