SEAC racer twin plenum

I was looking at the SEAC pages (as you do...) and this image came up that confused me:

1996 Donnington with a twin plenum which I know was one engine iteration; but what are the light brown coloured pipes that run into some sort of tank on the LHS infront of the windscreen but without a lid?

I don't think it was 1996, Jeff owned the car then and it has been on Carbs since 92
The above is a pic from 94/95
I think it should be 1988/89
It ran on a single plenum before that!
The yellowish pipes look to be coming from the rocker covers! So a oil breather system maybe the item, which has now been replaced by a alli tank!

Sorry Andy, I meant to type 1986; that's what the photo is tagged as on the SEACpages site.
I suspect it's crankcase vent too, but with a dry sump system you'd want to vent to the top of the swirl tank, not to atmosphere. I'd have guessed that the race SEAC was dry sumped from the start hence my confusion. The rocker covers in the photo are nothing like the ones in the recent pic so maybe it was a wet sump engine at the time?
The light brown pipes routed around the back of the engine don't appear to connect to the reservoir either, so I wonder what those are?

Hi Martin
I must say I am glad its all sorted now!
Ref being dry sumped, it was from day one, and it was like yours in the boot. It was then changed to a dry sump in the front, as they had problems sucking the oil up to pressure when cold! This mod was done by David Gerald racing as was the removable nose. The reason for this was Gerry Marshall had a bit of an impact restyling with the car, which resulting in it needing a new nose, so it was made removable, to make it easier to work on the car!
