TVR's and Air bags

Hi

I have just posted up on the general forum about TVR's and Air bags!

I thought I would share it with you all!

Why did TVR never fit Air Bags was it because of price or was it to technical for them!

Well I have come across a vid which is I believe of the factory doing tests!

Cracking vid...the landing would definalty hurt

Any way why do you need an air bag to save ya...

One reason is maybe they don't need them? When I crashed my wedge the interior cushioned me well enough. There isn't far to go forward to build up any relative speed before you get to the wheel.

Also when crash tested in the US the testers..(Shown here)..found that airbags just get in the way ...

If you don't want Air bags you can always have a Straw bail for protection, its just how you fit them!
