What's everyone think to this?
Seems as if it may need quite a bit of work frown
Would be good to have a fixed head as well as a convertible!
Not too sure SWMBO would agree banghead

Well, I've had a message and he's got old MOT's and some bills from 1995
He also says the chassis is in a good solid condition.
He's also uploaded some more pictures on the advert and tbh, it looks pretty neat and tidy!
Mine was in a considerably worse condition when I bought it!
Those new seats I took you Zig would look perfect in there & would give Delilah a Samson to keep her company wink
If it was a bit closer than Weymouth, I'd definitely consider "popping" out and having a look at it, but not a 250 mile drive, just a bit too far unfortunately banghead
Oh and there's still SWMBO to consider, don't think she'd be too impressed coming home from work to find a FHC on the drive!
So far for the money it's at, I think that it's pretty good value for money, depending upon the state of the chassis and engine, I'm not bothered by it being an auto, one less pedal to bother with!

Damn about the seats, as they're the perfect colour, C'est La Vie! The ones in it have covers on them, so not sure what they're like at all.
Come on Zig, with all your "Manly" charms, as evidenced at the BNG with the models, I'm sure you'll be able to maintain things with Delilah, Samson wouldn't stand a chance wink
Well, I'm pretty conflicted and I'm really not sure whether I'll be able to talk SWMBO into getting another TVR!
May have a word with my Dad and see if he fancies a little "project" lol
I'm heading down near to Weymouth, well, Southampton, on Wednesday, so may see if I can pop in and see it, the guy who's selling it doesn't know anything about TVR's at all as he's selling it for a friend.
Said the gearbox and engine was also good though!
It's not in too bad a condition and for less than the £500 it's currently at, that's damn good value in parts alone!

True...The seats have matching velor but if the ones in it are covered then perhaps they have been recovered ..rolleyes...500 squidly didlies is well cheap!!..That's my engine money..Although id end up with a spare engine and interior if it goes teet's up!!....For that kind of money it would be worth finishing to a driveable standard and moving on..Im still tempted to set up a "wedge rescue fund" for such project's later on..Trouble is they always come up when you have no space and spare cash...

Yeah I know crcensoredp init!
I'm not too bad on the space front, although it would have to live on the drive as I've only got a single garage frown
Especially with it being Christmas just around the corner frown I don't think the kids would be too impressed if I told them Daddy's spent the Crimbo pressies money on wedge calendars and another wedge xmas although it sounds good to me.

C'est La Vie, let's see what happens, idea I may have a word and see if he'll hold it till the new year for me, kind of a late Xmas present to myself!

Well it went for £1100
Seems really cheap for what ostensibly was a pretty decent car
